The rhythm of the breath is what keeps the body in motion. The breath powers the body.
The consciousness is the inhale and exhale, the yin and yang, running through the body that fuels the body with rhythm.
The body uses the consciousness to be fueled, and the consciousness uses the body to experience.
It’s a rhythm of change in pressure. When you inhale or exhale, you change the pressure in your entire body as well as the air pressure in the entire world (cosmic egg).
Think about riding a skateboard. If you wanted to continue riding the skateboard on a flat surface without having to push off the ground, you would have to weave back and forth from your toes to your heels.
The rhythm of pressure being applied to the skateboard is what keeps it moving. The skateboard doesn’t need food, gasoline, gravity etc. in order to stay in motion, just the change of pressure in rhythm.
You can go fast and rush through life, but then you’re not fully present for every wave, every inhale and exhale, every beat in the rhythm of the one verse (universe).
When you slow down the breath, or slow down the movements, you can be fully present and whole-istically in-joy every yin and yang of the experience, every breath, every turn (on the skateboard).
Instead of making more moves, be present for every move and make better moves.
Less is always more, more is always less.
